A lover of the liberal arts, especially antiquity in its diverse forms, I am nonetheless wholly devoted to, utterly transformed by divine revelation. I seek to know the thought of the past, articulate my deepest longings aroused by the wise, and understand the uneasy relationship between reason and revelation; all for the sake of proper action and contemplation, both now and in the future.

Trip -SPLAT- Just Keep Swimming

It has been a very long time since last I wrote here. Everything more or less dropped off in the first quarter. But here am I, a rising Senior at my little college, preparing for post-graduate life and wondering what will happen next. But instead of making a detailed, productive entry concerning my hopes, fears, and plans for the future, I shall write a list of things I should like to do everyday when I have leisure - that is, when I shall be in school, for only 30 hours a week will be spent in class or studying. Thus, given sufficient leisure, I should like to daily
  • Read
  • Journal
  • Study music
  • Write letters
  • Run
I will enlarge this list as I see fit. Right now it is a small list and I like it. I like making lists of things to do, for it provides me with the illusion of productivity in the midst of sloth. Right now I want to read anything (especially Kant) instead of War and Peace. I do not know why I am this contrary or so prone to procrastination. We will leave it at that.
